screenshot of a tumblr post from user “wildmansters” The thing that really boils my potatoes about Al in general is that I have been a creative professional for over a decade now and the devil has ALWAYS been in the details. Big and small, I've had single-person businesses rip me to shreds over how their colors turned out on newsprint, and have worked with huge companies with THICK brand guidelines with every detail of their brand identity laid out and enforced with an iron fist. But I guess all of that stuff doesn't matter anymore? Who gives a fuck if this Al generated baby has six fingers, that mom-and-pop shop is still going to use it. That rug from Temu says Happy Thanksgivirg? Oh well haha it's just a silly funny thing now (nevermind that you never would have given a B-grade item from a craft show the same consideration). I don't actually care that the Al Coca-cola ad has a truck that changes size every scene, but I can't help but think about how, if it had been some poor underpaid artist, they would have been laughed out of the building. I don't really know how to put it in a succint way but it just feels all the more obvious how much more grace and flexibility has always been possible but never offered.

Erstes Mal seit Jahren dass ich mir selbst einen Adventskalender hole. Taskmaster hatte eine Preorder und Taskmaster = Serotonin, also hätte ich mich mega drauf gefreut.
Hätte vor like fast 2 Monaten ankommen sollen, aber die haben die falsche Adresse draufgeschrieben und es wurde zurück geschickt

Philo dyes his hair red 😌 He got body swapped into the body of a Drow, his current natural hair color is white.
Something inside him apparently does miss his original Sun Genasi body, and so he dyed the hair red.
Of course that's only cause someone might recognize the Drow, no other reason at all. 🥲

also I could talk about Adriel's very cool and badass uncle who is supposed to be dead but Adriel doesn't think so and is still looking for him. Garrik is such a hero for people, it was very wholesome to experience what an impact he had on them. #eldersruindnd

Ich finde die Kritik "diese erwachsenen Charaktere verhalten sich wie Teenager" immer so schade.
Ich finde es so nice wenn erwachsene Charaktere auch flaws haben, keine perfekten Entscheidungen treffen, sich selbst und ihre Gefühle nicht 100% kennen, und ja, sich halt auch Mal "kindisch" verhalten.

Can you put into words what that purpose is? You and the frog have really become icons of this protest. There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day. What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid. It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. When they try to describe this situation as “war-torn,” it becomes much harder to take them seriously when they have to post a video saying [U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security] Kristi Noem is up on the balcony staring over the Antifa Army and it’s, like, eight journalists and five protesters and one of them is in a chicken suit.
