Near lakes and other wet areas you can find
bog-myrtle, aka sweet willow, Dutch myrtle or sweetgale i.e. Myrica gale
Pick the light green top leaves. Put them in a jar and pour in a bottle of vodka. Close the lid and let it brew for a few days.
Strain off the leaves and bottle.
Best schnapps ever.
