OOPS. 150,000 words with two final chapters to come. I take solace from the reactions of my early readers, who want more, not less.

Oddly enough, the characters in my novel do not know there is a "plot" with a "purpose" and do not therefore tailor their every word and deed toward moving a plot or purpose.

They are far too busy hurling a vituperative congeries of racial, ethno-cultural and gender-based invective at each other.
