On one hand I can appreciate his lack of enthusiasm for public speaking and raw raw speeches. OTOH, it's part of the freaking job. Baseball is a form of entertainment. Try to show a little enthusiasm or excitement. Leadership is in part about inspiring people and your paying customers.

What kills me is people within the organization saying that fans need to be patient. Like the last eight years didn’t count! The Giants have the most bizarre sense of entitlement and what fans owe the organization instead of the other way around.

Not to rant, but I continue to be struck by the difference between 49ers/Warrior ownership groups vs the Giants. Giant ownership just doesn't seem committed to winning to the same degree.

I'm really confused by the organization. They say they don't do rebuilds. But absent a big signing or big trade(s), it feels like a rebuild.

Roger, honest question...why are the Giants sold on Kyle Haines? The farm system regularly ranks in the bottom third, it produces basically no stars, and its been this way for years. Isn't it time to maybe change direction?
