Waiting has been the hardest part as an artist to see whether or not you make it into a show/gallery. The wait is over …it was another no, this year. I’m not going to give up or let this define me as an artist. Now on to the next painting/project …a blank canvas is waiting.… #art #artist #gayartist
Phase 1 of A repurposed canvas that has been started for a new abstract, acrylic piece, entitled Rebirth. Light misty, blue and lavender acrylic paint dripping down onto the orange and red horizontal stripes on the bottom of the canvas Phase 2 of the repurposed canvas; now filled with more darker blues and lavenders while adding thicker paint, more paint drips, and white paint to cover up what was previously there. The abstract art piece of “Rebirth” is on its way. Phase 3 of the almost completed abstract art piece, entitled “Rebirth”. The canvas is almost filled yellow accents of paint have been strategically placed to allow your eyes to be drawn in. Phase 4 of the completed abstract, art piece, entitled “Rebirth” by Damien (me). More purple and lavender paint has been applied.
