When we decided 15 years ago to begin the honouring of local heroes we genuinely didn’t think it would continue this long. But every year this area throws up more people deserving of honour. @katedurrant.bsky.social

She wasn’t my preferred candidate but she is now my President. She is the first citizen of the country and as such I respect her position and wish her the very best of luck in her role.
