I try to imagine a country where the Greens were given as much coverage as R*form and its protoparties. And where local newspapers continued to thrive and hold local powers to account.

I see merits in both. But bbc will always be too far to the ‘left’ for those on the far right. See also: National Trust, NHS etc. These institutions are vital for storytelling - reflecting but also shaping our narratives. They’re being attacked because of their potential to do great good.
