I was too hasty about Caroline Daniel. As the hearing progressed she, by using a very carefully selected narrow form of words, failed to back Prescott’s selection of issues in his report or his analysis that the BBC was not addressing issues of impartiality.
Caroline Daniel being a very effective wingwoman for Michael Prescott at the hearing of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture, Media and Sport. Prescott has already got away with not answering a question how he came to be appointed as an editorial adviser.

Robbie Gibb was appointed by Boris Johnson, he was an editorial adviser to GB News and a director of communications for Theresa May. He is not neutral or impartial.
