Anakin mentioning Sin in the Clone Wars movie was an interesting one.

Ahh interesting. Thanks for the clarification. Unsure where that info in the sourcebook came from then.

The holy trinity.

Obviously there's the famous "A Sunny Day in the Void" Clone Wars episode that Lucas even compared to THX's white void prison, but the THX influence is everywhere in Star Wars.

There's also Lucas' interest in depicting societies that have sealed themselves off from nature and become more technological. This appears first with the underground post-apocalypse civilization in THX but continues in Star Wars with Kamino, Mandalore and the Empire in general.

Another connection in THX-1138 is this cut scene from an early draft where THX and SRT discuss the idea of a "force" or fundamental reality underpinning all religion, something that'd be very influential to Star Wars.

Fives meets a bleaker end than THX who's fate at the end of film is left more ambiguous. But both of them are framed by circles in their final shots and are free in different ways.

If they hated Canto they'd have a heart attack over Xibariz (pleasure palace space station inspired by Venice and the World's fair with a giant disco ball in the sky) that would've appeared in Amy Hennig's Star Wars game.

RIP this timeline's Watto.

Yeah I heard there was even VA work done on that before they scrapped it. Unless it was just an animated version of the Ahsoka series plot. But maybe because of the format they could've had more episodes to do actual flashback eps of Ahsoka training Sabine and stuff. Sort of like Acolyte.

Maybe that could've functioned as a finale to this hypothetical show. Explaining what Ahsoka and Sabine were busy doing during the Battle of Endor and stuff. I was always bummed Rebels ended before the OT and didn't continue on into it.

Me and @alphadal1999.bsky.social were talking about this a while back and how Ahsoka feels like a sequel to a show that doesn't exist, bringing up a lot of the same points. There's even the Night of a Thousand Tears that happens around ROTJ similar to Siege of Mandalore happening during ROTS.
