It can be hard for her to tell us what she is experiencing. It has been hell and led to the use of Abilify, then risperiDONE and now talk of Vraylar as the first two meds had awful side effects and had to be stopped.

We have had a MAJOR mental and physical health crisis with her since late July but which really started in February. Listening to this segment opened my eyes to what she may have been dealing with: withdrawal from those first two SSRIs at least in part. She has trisomy 21 so while she talks well,

I found this so timely. Last Dec, my daughter's psychiatrist had us take her off sertraline/fluoxetine combo she had been on for over 12 years. It was all completed in a few weeks. Then she went on Cymbalta that never seemed to work. Then she went back on just sertraline.

She "wanted" it September 24. The day after she won by at least 70%. She was treated with disrespect. She was duly ELECTED. My new Member of Congress, James Walkinshaw, also won by more than 70% and he was sworn in the very NEXT day.
