i am kind of sad that i somehow never learned of stella parks impossible pecan pie until this year bc think i would enjoy making it as a technical challenge & it in theory avoids the grossest part of pecan pie (corn syrup gloopiness, eeeww). but alas am now old & cooking a butterscotch

indeed. have to wonder how spending even the slightest amount of time thinking about *how* all those african american folks have irish ancestry would affect the white irish americans who were interviewed.

getting your bones aligned & moving to allow your soft tissues to freely function through their whole range is enormously helpful, who knew.
at a minimum, find ways to get your ribcage to expand & contract alllll around gives your pelvic floor a huge assist in just ... being. just quietly

consider taking in a different perspective on the side-to-side gait & stance asymmetries you mention & checking out the work of pri-informed folks. i am very, very far from persuaded by a lot of pri thinking, but have found some of the concepts & foundational movements very helpful.

i'm direct with w yoshimura & a davis & there were a number of folks using pseudonyms & living (povertystriken, precarious lives) off the official paperwork grid who i met & at times had repeated interactions with through mid 1990s berkeley.
