I thought of that scene, too. That level of gross brutality is where the US is at, now.

I've seen sand with more sauce.

Hideous.

I think going forward, the more electronics are near your face, the more reprehensible and foolish you're going to look.

Just my Christmas wish.

He flat-out insults troops and disdains American food in one run-on, painfully pointless take. Impressive.

As a politician, it is their job. I'd take it more as a workplace issue than a 1st Amendment one. Surely there are other avenues to curtail its abuses, given the definite nature of government, offices, the specificities of the job and positions, to curtail its abuses.

"Poilievre may still lead the Official Opposition. But everyone knows who the real Conservative leader is now."

A sad, succinct quote.

That sodden, rotten, vainglorious monster.

Er, wot...?!?!

Getting there. I believe it was ABBA that uttered those immortal words, "Onandonandon. Keep on rockin' baby, 'till the night is gone." Yerrrs.

Stephen Miller 101.

Yup.
Break the fucking spell.
November 28, 2025 at 6:33 AM
If someone, anyone would shout back, "What the fuck did you just say?", they'd be a national hero. It'd help break this miasmatic, braindead spell that everyone is participating in.

FFS, people. Talk back. Call him out. Ask again. Force it!

Up against historic, delicate Allan Gardens, too.
Horrible.

So now we've got ungainly monstrosities like this normalized through fifteen years of ensconced defaults and lack of vision. It looks less like a preservation of the past than a show of power to humiliate it.
A contemptuous, commercial absurdity.

Taxidermy of buildings was a partial save, a patch on crass new developments to make them a tad more relatable (and help get some bonuses) . It was never meant to be normalized, but Toronto's kept at it, instead of actually creating something original or worthy, a new modern or local style.

AI is a bilious scam, a diminisher of minds, derogator of human connection and wrecker of opportunity.
The awfulness and retrograde nature of the Petro industry needs no introduction.

That the government is going above and beyond to put more money into either is a permanent black mark. Awful.

Or maybe just 'Dir-D'.

I wonder what's up at his wife-free fundamentalist frathouse? Maybe something's straining his affection.

Speaker Mike Johnson Is Living in a D.C. House That Is the Center of a Pastor’s Secretive Influence Campaign
The Capitol Hill townhouse is owned by a major Republican donor. It’s the headquarters of a little-known political influence project that has reached a number of powerful Republican politicians.
