It's not like there's a shortage of countries in the world to do business with. Why promote trade with this terrible regime? Canada's strength is not in its mere ability to do business.

I thought this opening statement was wonderful.
It sums up not only Conservatism succinctly, it is also true of religious fundamentalism, that driver of so much Conservative thinking and force.
