Psalm in entangled form. I think that's a good thing; it's still growing but I don't need to worry about it getting too tall (it's still slightly taller than me, but only until that last big leaf on top drops; it's the healthiest leaf from the old growth, though).

Lower down, showing some more secondary growth, especially one node which has its original leaf, two healthy secondary branches, and one dead one. Many of the new secondary branches have smaller leave, but they are the correct rounded leaf shape, rather than the 'dinosaur footprint' leaves that were originally growing.

Haven't updated on the jackfruit in a while.

It's been... hanging in there. It's lost a lot of leaves, and definitively cut off it's own vertical growth in favor of putting out horizontal growth in the form of axillary branches where the leaves fell off.
Full shot of the plant. The bottom third no longer has leaves, though the shadows hide he fact that most of it is beginning to harden into bark. A few nodes near the top have no leaves or stems, though the top still has some large leaves. A couple leaf-less nodes have begun to grow axillary branches, while small axilary branches are starting to pop up wherever there are still leaves present. Closer, more top-down view of the plant. Watching the #SnakeDiscovery livestream and actually cryign at Sharon shoving her boyfriend Rafiki out of the corner while he was asleep live on camera so she could get under the light.
Sharon - a sulcata tortoise - with a camera on her back, wandering the Snake Discovery zoo. After getting lost in the back room of the store for a while, she found her way back to her enclosure, tired. She enters the enclosure. Her 'boyfriend', a leopard tortoise named Rafiki, is sitting in the corner under the heat lamps. She rudely shoves him out of the way, her front foot firmly in his face. She pushed him out of the corner completely to hog the light. Tortoise equivalent of couch banishment.

ngl, Boneless Bear's a pretty peak miniboss in Ratatan. Tied with Chillwarden for fav enemy currently in the build, tho there were two desert-stage biggies spoiled on the devblog who I *can't wait* to see implemented.

Kinda wish they'd move here, I ain't linking to TwX, so I'll just screencap it:
Boneless Bear (BonBon) is a patchwork teddy bear with eclectic patterned fabric, though its 'ears' also look like frog eyes, while there is framing around its face that looks like a toothy mouth. Its face is split in half by a zipper; one half is blank with a red and orange checkerboard pattern, the other is purple with a stitched mouth and a swirling red button eye. It is suspended in the air with several colorful balloons, and holding five knives that it is prepared to throw downwards. BonBon unzips its face and a black liquid miasma with a single red eye oozes out, forming two gigantic, dripping clawed arms. BonBon's death animation; black ooze explodes from its head, red eye wide open in shock. A TwX post from the Ratatan team discussing some desert-stage enemies. While the post focuses on Kit Lasso (a character who is already in the game as a mid-boss, much like Boneless Bear), there are other small humanoids on the sheet, including a mini-boss style "Eagle" , and a similar "Yamaarashi (Porcupine/Hedgehog)", neither of whom appear to be implemented yet. There are also three much larger 'monster' style minibosses that are not yet implemented; a lanky humanoid cactus named "Saguaro Slim", an ivory-scaled humanoid snake (with arms and legs!) with no name aside the label "Hebi/Snake Gunman", and a very topheavy black scorpion 'humanoid' (with a two-tier body and red highlights), similarly labeled "Sasori/Scorpion Gunman". All of them are wearing Western/Cowboy regalia of varying complexity.

Two Tumblr Asks in rapid succession that made me want to draw reactions using the LO-version of my 'sona, Psalm, which means I now have four little 'reactions' of her in varying states of... usually sad, but that's mostly because I'm a wreck, myself, ha.
This one was actually a happy-cry for getting two 'gifts' in a row at one point, since it's rare I get gifts at all. I was feeling overwhelmed. Family Guy Death Pose Psalm, after having an RSD Incident involving people vagueblogging shit about how people draw certain characters that felt like they were targeting me (they weren't, but RSD is a bastard like that). Partly a thankful tear image, but also I wanted to do a more detailed pic of her without the facemask, since I think I'm gonna leave the facemask off her now. It doesn't serve the same purpose as it did over in the MM setting. A much simpler but more despondent image, in response to being 'accused' of being 'too hard on myself'. I can't help it if my brain sucks and hates me for having the audacity to try-!

Sam, from Look Outside, surrounded by the armed and toothed spine of... well, Spine, as a glowing red, overwhelming spectre. He's hunched over, clutching his head, eyes shadowed (though one 'glows' for emphasis). His missing arm has some glowing red veins; the comic is about her giving him a new arm, albeit one with... strange side-effects. Sam is very conflicted about Spine... he can't get her out of his head, and she terrifies him, but something about her offer to become something new is... frighteningly enticing. But is it worth the pain?

1.6 has finally been out a bit, so I can post this without guilt (I did it early on Tumblr with permission, Because)

Some of the dialogues are different, though, because I drew these when they were first added to the public beta, which was months ago, and they changed since then, haha.

Spine is hunched over Sam in bed, who is trying to sleep. She is highlighted in red, to indicate she is a 'phantom', and that Sam cannot actually see her, only feel her as she feels up his arms and face. In-game text reads: "You hear a raspy "Hello!" as more claws touch your face, neck, and arms. It feels like half a dozen invisible spiders are crawling over you. Spiders with sharp knives for legs. As... friendly as it is intended to be, it is difficult not to be viscerally unnerved by all of this." Spine running her claws through Sam's hair in bed. He's batting her away in the first image, with the in-game text: "Ow! Be Careful!" "She scratching gets noticeable more gently. Now it's just creepy instead of creepy and painful." She leans over again, scratching more lightly but with more hands. Sam seems a bit more comfortable with this, along with the in-game text: "This is very weird and uncomfortable, but still kind of sweet. Maybe having some weird ghoul haunt your apartment isn't so bad." (This line was removed and replaced). Spine is leaning on Sam's chest. He looks down at her with a faint, conflicted smile, and the in-game text: "After a few seconds, you feel tremors on your chest. Is she snoring? That's kinda cute." Spine sleeps curled up along the side of Sam's bet. He looks over his shoulder with a faint smile. In-game text reads: "Just as you fall asleep, you think you hear Spine's raspy voice say, "Good night". "...Good night, Spine."
