Comey can't be further prosecuted (statute of limitations), & Tish James will surely be able to establish vindictive prosecution if indicted again.

Trump: "I hate her, she dared point out my crimes, find something, anything she did wrong, aha! she checked the wrong box on a form."

One distinct advantage of Halloween and Christmas being so commercialized (decor, parties, spending) is that no one has bothered to commercialize Thanksgiving.

It gets to remain a home-centered event of family and friends getting together and cooking and eating favorite foods.

This must be like a dream come true for Stephen Miller (who is actually running Trump's domestic policy). An excuse to get rid of anyone who isn't white, Christian, and preferably of northern European extraction.

Could have ended up in the "would have solved it by the 7th line" jail but managed to get it in 4, due to some lucky probe words.

You know why fresh fruits and vegetables have seen major price increases? Growers in the US have lost the migrant workers who used to harvest the crops. Tariffs are spiking the prices on imported products (coffee, bananas,etc.).

It's sad to realize that Trump will never be held accountable.
No matter who's in charge of DOJ, the feeling will be to move very slowly on charging a former POTUS (as Garland did), and even if convicted, as a sick old man prosecutors won't want to jail him.

Did they eat turkeys at Thanksgiving in the Middle Ages? (short answer, No)
So where did turkeys come from anyway, and why are they named for a Middle Eastern country?

Turkeys
The Middle Ages did not have turkeys, for they are found only in the New World.  For a big feast, they might have a duck or a goose, however...

Half the electorate last year: Prices are high, Covid was a pain, let's try something different. Maybe Trump again?

Trump this year: High prices are not high but low! Look at my beautifully gaudy WH! Pay no attention to the Epstein files! Watch me get rich!

Electorate: Say what?

It used to be that the US spoke warningly of going to any country where you might just be walking along and an unmarked van would pull up, masked guys jump out and seize you, no warrant or anything, and carry you off to parts unknown.
That country is now us.
