Rough colour plan for a life size Carnotaurus portrait. I wanted to avoid the typical red and blacks that are so commonly used for this animal. The research was SO much easier for this one than the Cryolophosaurus. More papers, better photos, better 3D reference, SKIN IMPRESSIONS.

Spent the day researching my next full scale portrait. Really excited to get started on this one!

Really looking forward to the first ever Dinocon! It's fantastic that the UK now has such a thing.

I'm super excited to finally reveal my life size Cryolophosaurus ellioti portrait! After 77 hours over five weeks, this is the largest, most detailed dinosaur I've ever drawn (so far). She was named 'Angry Granny' by my three year old daughter.

Today's plan was to get the Cryolophosaurus photographed for prints but we're snowed in so it'll have to wait. I'll see if I can get some good photos by the end of the day.

Finished life size Cryolophosaurus *hopefully* dropping tomorrow. Some special, very limited prints likely to follow. Stay tuned.
