The more you look at it, the more the spending review looks like a bad deal for Wales in terms of rail.

Over 4 years Wales gets £348 million.

This is only £108 million (45%) more than spending on a single station in Leeds...

If you needed evidence why the UK has regressed as an economy, you’ll never have a better headline than this.

Twenty. Three. Years.

Its almost like the WRU waited to sack Nigel Walker until he could be of use to them in sacrificing him to keep Gatland….

For reference, both should be fucking gone 😂
www.wru.wales/2024/12/gatl...

Walker goes. Gatland survives (until the end of the Six Nations, at least).

Some talk of "ambition of improving mindset, mentality and culture."

New DoR will be recruited.

Is this meaningful stuff or just deckchairs being moved around?

Seven. Hundred. And fifteen million pounds.
In July, I FOI'd the Home Office for the full breakdown of spending on the Rwanda scheme

I was refused because the government planned to publish the data in future, and today is the day. These numbers are in millions

The sheer hypocrisy of those who have sat behind the “its undemocratic to have a 2nd referendum” argument to now call for another general election within 4 months is incredible 😂

This is spot on. There's very little sense right now in this debate about the balancing of harms. There's the possibility of that balance altering with a change. But there's also clear harm now that isn't being reckoned with.
I would really like there to be an acknowledgment of harms caused by all our legislation (and lack of legislation). A basic, respectful honesty.

Yes, if we change the law some vulnerable person will end up pressed into ending their life earlier. Yes, if we don’t change it, dying people will suffer
