I’m caught between using an iridescent gold pigment and maybe something more basic that wouldn’t require mixing a dry pigment with a wet pigment. Tomorrow, I’ll be figuring out if I’m cutting into the halo and where my highlights are.

I’m trying to work up the courage to live more for myself and well being. I want to let go of the stress and replace stress in my life with more #tattoos, travels, and to be creative more often. I miss devoting my life to art.

I feel as though I have let myself down. For all of the minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years of neglecting my own needs — that time has been used to support someone else’s dream. I became a matrix for someone else’s values.

#Sketching for #Printmaking today. The plan is for a full series of red+black inked #lino cuts. I’m a big fan of the process because you can’t be spontaneous beyond the sketch. #serpents and #occult imagery from the dark ages — #renaissance depictions in wood cut #blockprints are the inspiration.

#Sketching for #Printmaking today. The plan is for a full series of red+black inked #lino cuts. I’m a big fan of the process because you can’t be spontaneous beyond the sketch. #serpents and #occult imagery from the dark ages — #renaissance depictions in wood cut #blockprints are the inspiration.
My happy places include large collections of vinyl records for purchase, this is #Amoeba #Records #Hollywood. While I do miss their Sunset location, I’ve grown to love the Hollywood Blvd. location.
