Medicare for All is polling 50%+ among Democrats.

Why not go bold while the Republicans struggle to articulate anything at all?

Today is not the end of our fight to stop skyrocketing health care costs. We cannot leave American families to struggle. I will always fight for more affordable health care.

But Speaker Johnson never so much as allowed a vote on legislation to extend the premium tax credits, and he has told Republicans he has no plans to do so.

The American people deserve better than the bill that passed tonight. They deserve a bill that both reopens the government and ensures they can afford to see their doctor.

Throughout the seven weeks, we’ve seen President Trump do everything he can to use the shutdown to make life even more unaffordable for Americans.

These are only two of the dozens of stories that my constituents have shared with me over the last seven weeks. Far too many cannot afford to pay for their basic needs, whether health care, food, or electricity.

Hi again. My last note was not clear. Let me try again. Sorry. 30 people spoke in favor of protected bike lanes and narrower lanes which have been proven to slow speeds--and the council did not budge an inch. They see bikes as a nuisance.

Grateful for your support. One can feel fairly isolated at these meetings. We had about 30 people there telling them not to do this. And another 80 write in. But the 59,000 others in this town, most of whom want to ride their bike sometimes, were not present.

Much appreciate your support on the Encinitas bike lane carnage.

If you happen to know any voters in this fine city, please let them know. Council men Jim O'Hara, Bruce Ehlers, Marco San Antonio and Luke Shaeffer think streets are only for cars.

I'm grateful to see this result for our LGBTQ+ community. And while we continue to see attacks from lawmakers against LGBTQ+ individuals, the Shapiro-Davis Administration will continue to defend your right to love in this Commonwealth.
