As the grandson of *that* kind of German from the 40s, it will never not be absolutely absurd to me that people still hold their confederate ancestors on a higher pedestal than God. You can say they did brave things, but were also the worst kind of piece of shit imaginable. The 2 aren't exclusive.

I'm so sorry. I hate asking but I need help again. I still have been unable to fix my heat due to soulless insurance companies denying claims for an illness my child is dealing with. I have literally no way to make ends meet, or pay for necessary care or amenities. If anyone can help, I can't even
