Writer, creative & technical. Lifelong learner, sometime teacher. Passionate about rule of law, democracy, women’s autonomy. And go Dawgs.
Once again, the lack of educating people in the humanities leads to some really bad decisions.

Call me cynical, but the sudden concern for women’s health in this one specific area by these loons makes me wonder who stands to profit from selling more HRT meds?

And, if menopause kills, how are there so many old women still walking around (me among them)?

Traumatizing children. All part of the cruelty.

It’s a 2025 workhouse. The only people they will help are the big businesses contracted to run them. More opportunities for the rich to make money off the taxpayers while lining their own pockets.

In what real world is T a “Master Builder”?

Could he, in his current state, build even this?

Just watching home improvement shows, they set up at least 2 levels of plastic sheeting to stop it getting into other spaces in the house, & workers wear protective gear including respirators.

So the GA 9th District GOP released a statement today about No Kings. Lies & projection, no surprise there. But the claims that there’s years of “proof” about antifa as a terrorist org, that the Congressional record shows how Biden censored social media… It’s enfuriating.

Working on alt text.

Checking out the events at the Decatur Book Festival, I came to a hard stop at this one. With the CDC resignations, it should be a lively discussion!

The NYTimes’s bias against Dem’s actions is showing in the heading of the “related stories” section: “More on the Democratic Party’s Troubles”

This is from a while back. My old hands weren’t working well enough to draw something fresh tonight.

I taught school and ran a library for my stuffed animals. I made each of them a library card.

The library started when my dad brought home an expired rotary date stamper & a well-used ink pad, so I put due date cards in all my books.

Watching the World Cup with us, when my son was 12, my mum kept calling the Dutch player Marco van Basten “van Bastard.” My son found that quite amusing.

The image of a smiling, vacuous Adams is cringe. Rosy coca-cola Santa cheeks! Fluffy grandma hair! Smarmy grin. By his own admission, Adams was not a jolly old soul.

They really do think they’re aristocrats. Their whole attitude is anathema to the ideals this country has espoused since its founding.

I hope we can toss them away without shedding blood.

He took his conversion as an excuse to push his interpretation of Jesus onto everyone else.

The bit about how a person is responsible for decisions sits differently knowing he decided murder was his right.

I wish journalists would decide that softening white male killers is a bad idea.

Of course, in the upside-down world of Fox Propaganda Network, it’s all the Dems’ fault.
