My unpopular opinion about the gender meme trends ("girls eat dinner like THIS," "boys think constantly about THAT") is that there's a direct connection between a joking reinforcement of these binaries & a larger, serious cultural pushback against queerness & gender ambiguity
very annoyed by people on every social media network just doing men are from mars women are from venus shit now. perhaps it's my [flashlight under chin] male socialization
