~ Basic Information ~
Some Basic Lore: - River used to be a district attorney. - They were born in 1900 (changed from the 1890 it used to be to make it fit canon). - They used to have a British accent, but lost it while they were trapped in a mirror for 85 years (changed from the 90 years it used to be to fit canon). - Because of the events of Who Killed Markiplier?, they have a fear of lightning, thunder, and guns. Their fear of guns has gotten better since then. - They hate the word “murder” (along with variants like “murderer”) because of the events of Who Killed Markiplier? and will refuse to use it. They’ll also flinch slightly when they hear it. Personality: - River is usually a kind person, except for around a select few people (mainly Actor Mark). - They can be very secretive towards people who don’t know their past or that they don’t know well. - They have heavy trust issues, which can occasionally make them seem cold to strangers. They try to push that down. - They’re a surprisingly good liar, but they don’t lie often. - They can be blunt and to the point, but they don’t like to be so blunt that it causes them to sound rude (unless you’re Actor Mark). Misc: - River wears a long sleeve that covers their left arm and hand (starting after the events of In Space With Markiplier) to cover lightning-like scars. - They’re 5’3/160 cm. - They’re blond, and their hair is dyed teal towards the bottom. - They often have nightmares about their past (mainly the events of Who Killed Markiplier? and In Space With Markiplier). - They aren’t quite “human”, but they aren’t sure what they are. They used to be human.

Somehow, you found yourself back in October of 2015. You wander around town, until someone runs into you. They mutter a quick apology, and they seem distracted. You quickly recognize them as River, but they look much worse than when you saw them last. They have a dead flower on their breast pocket, they’re much thinner, and they look dehydrated. They’re wearing a dark teal dress shirt and skirt of the same color, and a very light teal tie. They clutch a black cane with a clear gem at the end over their abdomen. They look like they’re panicking.
