Turns out it's surprisingly difficult to find a passive XLR adapter for a *stereo mic* to make the two 3 pin XLRs go into one 5 pin XLR. None of these connectors are esoteric and the signals require zero conversion.

They’re worthless in professional capacities today, so you can find them for fairly reasonable prices if you shop around and avoid shadier looking sellers.

Target already told me in January 2015 I was “too autistic to work there” (their words, not mine). I haven’t been a big fan of them as a business since then.
