I finally got to meet the man who influenced on my life. I campaigned for him as a teenager and felt such a sense of hopefulness when he won the presidential election. He was a light among the darkness. The world will miss his faithfulness, decency and his incredible strength. #JimmyCarter

“White wolf’s winter nap.” (West Yellowstone.) I loved how the wolf became part of the winter landscape. Photographing Wildlife is my absolute favorite escape from the ugliness of the human world as it continues its encroachment on nature.

She was the best girl. RIP Jada Bear. Your best bud Mr. Wilson has been awaiting your arrival. You guys can go back to fighting over the tennis ball I sent along with Jada. As Shakespear wrote, ”Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.” Tell that to my ♥️

I set out on a journey in search of the grizzlies of the Grand Tetons. The weather turned cold & blustery with flurries challenging my visibility. 399 and her cub was just a distant glimpse, but, unexpectedly, I had a chance encounter with her daughter 610 & her three cubs. #grizzlybear #grizzly610
