not definitive for sure, we will have to see if the devs keep him at the current state hes at right now. hes a poke coded hero who has a little too much survivability, it lets him get so much value that its hard to find cases to switch off him, hence the main support role.

also because kiri is another flex support that is stupidly broken rn lol so its just a rare instance that flex+flex happens to be optimal rn. main+flex is slowly creeping back up though, we saw a lot of lucio kiri last weekend in owcs.

you basically got it spot on, but right now the only thing somewhat wrong is the “cant have two type As/Bs” thing. this is more exclusively to wuyang though, he is a flex support that is still overtuned and you’ll often see him paired with kiri or ana at top level, who are both also flexes.

dont worry im not distressed at all theres definitely confusion going both ways i just didnt expect so many people to come at me because apparently theres a whole side i dont know about. the concept of communists not being weird is just completely unheard of to me before today so idk anymore

tbh i dont know why we are power scaling different ways to make someone uncomfortable to me its either u do or dont fw it and thats that. its almost like asking someone would u rather have a trumpie or a fatphobic player on ur team like what lol both are obviously bad

i already left the team server so i cant just grab screens but randomly today he was talking about how the united states wouldve been in better hands in the soviet union or some shit. i asked if it was a joke before i left and he was serious

i thought at least local scenes would be a lot more welcoming, i mean ive been to a bunch of various splatoon locals and they are all 100x more pure than the online scene. thats actually a shocker sorry u gotta go thru that

comp splatoon is so pure ive competed here for several years and not once have i had an experience anything close to these. never wanna see another post like “thA splAtOon commUnity iS so toXic” no its not lol, its likely the most welcoming comp game believe it or not.

moral of the story is if youre good enough, just spam pickups and have variety in who you play with. you will have to venture out your inner circle a bit, but thats what it takes.
