There’s a fine line between a perfect nap, where you wake up feeling right as rain…and the horrible nap where you wake up from what feels like a 10 year coma, completely disoriented, the entire world has moved on without you.

OMG…About 5 years ago I lived on the 9th floor. I was talking to my daughter on the phone…and an overpowering odour came through my window.
I told my daughter, and said “How can I smell a skunk up here?”
She laughed. “You’re smelling pot.”
After that I told everyone about the weed-smoking skunk…😂

I’m experiencing a true sense of peace and calm, now that I realize that the elusive wonderful romance is not the be-all and end-all of a great life. I have had my fair share of romance, and now? I no longer need the ups and downs, highs and lows.
Self-care is self-love.
No hassles.

Based on my own life experiences, I have encouraged him to put it on the back burner for now, and not let it colour his actions going forward. It’s a loss, but he can still pay rent and eat. He still has a car.
I’m sorry for this woman who got taken by the rental scam. I hope my small sum helps.

We are being bombarded by scammers. My future son-in-law had his bank account stripped of $3000 when he applied for a job online. He thought that the bank could help him recover, but so far, they haven’t. A devastating blow to a young man just starting out.
Be careful out there.

I live in Canada. Received a letter from my friend in Oregon today, and she already knows that she will have to cancel her insurance. She’s turning 70 in a few months. Breaks my heart. I’m 71 and I know that, as you age, you need access to a good doctor and tests, treatments.

I think it’s going to fail…One of the Republican holdouts will either be blackmailed, offered a cushy deal, or suddenly come into enormous wealth.

A friend recently cautioned me that if I continue to put “poison“ in my body (Covid vaccine), I might grow a tail.
Conspiracy theories are running rampant.
And…I’m still thriving. No tail yet.

Would have been so much better if communities had stepped up and helped with food donations…something that the “churchy” people are supposed to do. So now, this month, people will get SNAP, but overall, lack of healthcare will kill off millions. 😢

Never ceases to amaze me that the obscenely wealthy people in this world think that the rest of us are envious…that we wish we had their lives.

I was in a pretty good mood when I first woke up.
And then I glanced out the window.
WTF?
And so it begins…😢

It’s the Quiet I miss.
I have a distant memory of long periods of absolute silence.
And it was wonderful.

I have faith that most Canadians want nothing to do with the politics of hate and sniping. From Harper on, they have appealed to the more negative voters. They have had that for years in the States, and look how that’s working out.
Most Canadians favour intelligence, integrity, and honesty. Not PP.
