Congratulations to Kitchener and Waterloo for being the top two Ontario cities in PeopleForBikes City Ratings’ 2025 Best Places to Bike! This community achievement is a result of collaboration between advocates, elected officials, city/regional staff, organisations and community members.
Congratulating the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo for being the top 2 Ontario cities in PeopleForBikes City Ratings - 2025 Best Places to Bike. Showing the top 10 cities in Ontario with Kitchener being #1 with a 65 rating and Waterloo at #2 with a 64 rating. Sharing that this is a community achievement as a result of the collaboration between advocates, elected officials, city staff, organisations and community members. By using the Bicycle Network Analysis (BNA) tool, different locations in the city are identified on how well people can reach it by bike.

Here’s some great news for people in Waterloo Region. Neuron Mobility is rolling out adaptive vehicles as a part of their fleet. The adaptive cycles need to be booked 24 hours ahead, but this is a great addition to see.
