I was going for a look somewhere between The Borg and classic Cyborg with a strong cyberpunk edge (hello, purple hair!).

WIP on Project Mayhem! 🚀

In the gray box phase, but the core systems are proving stable:
✅ Weapon Upgrades are applying!
👾 Wave Spawning of the first enemy type is go!
I even squeezed in a basic muzzle flash and camera shake so it's not totally boring!

I finished my laser weapon last week! I’ve used a shader and Line Renderer to get the laser visuals working. Over the last couple of days, I’ve been trying to save items equipped to the hotbar—I think I’ve found the solution, so hopefully it’ll be working by tomorrow! #indiegamedev #gamedev

I can now spawn enemies once a mission objective is complete! They even bleed when attacked using particle effects and a blood splatter. Next up: improving combat, adding patrol behaviors, and making them face the player when attacking. Writing it down makes it seem simple!🤣 #indiegamedev

I've fleshed out the Dialogue System for StationFall! It integrates with both the glitch and sanity systems—some decisions even have QTEs. I can also swap character sprites during hallucinations. Now I just need to make the transition smoother! #indiegamedev #indiegame #gamedev #horrorgame

I've added some basic lighting shaders to StationFall! The shuttle's nacelles and some alien plants now have subtle, pulsing lights using a sine wave effect. Combined with the fog, the planet is starting to feel truly alien! #indiegamedev #gamedev #horrorgame

Back to working on StationFall! I've put together a simple tileset for the planet the player will visit, added dust particles, and layered in some fog to make things feel even eerier!

This took longer than I expected! Getting the UI to rotate exactly the way I wanted was trickier than I thought. 😅 But I’m happy it’s finally working! I’ve also added an info window that appears when the player hovers over an item. 🛠️ #gamedev #indiegamedev #solodev #indiegame
