Busy acquiring grandchildren and hobbies in preparation.
Please please please read this & sign the petition link (‘what can you do’ option in the menu). Devastating that this beautiful, remarkable, wild moorland, a protected peat blanket bog and SSSI could be blighted by 65 giant turbines each taller than Blackpool Tower.

Felling a 180 year old oak tree for a temporary bridge is madness. I assume it's the easy option for LCC, not the best option. What a short sighted terrible decision if it goes ahead.

Well, over the years I’ve always tried to understand the judges’ decisions on my favourite programme - Portrait Artist of the Year - and be forgiving when I disagree. But jeeez this time I just can’t. Time to stop watching I think.

I’m not going to leave X just yet - I hate that sense of being driven away from a place I used to love. But after one day on here, I already know how much prefer it.

So if you see this and would be kind enough to share it to let people find me, that would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Quick 6 mile walk before storm Debra hit (storm Debris as hubby thought it was called & is probably more appropriate - so far we’ve amassed a sock, a xmas bauble (🤷🏼‍♀️), leaves leaves leaves, and a large plastic pumpkin at our back door).

Bit late in the day for today’s walk, but so peaceful, just before the sun set. This rather lovely fella seemed to agree.
