Now that I'm through with new releases that are on my radar until December, I'm back on my FF7 replays with Remake for the first time since 2020. So far my list of complaints is mostly unchanged, and the parts of the game that are a bit of a slog are overshadowed by the game's charm.

This game was a lot of fun and I feel like the future of the series is looking good, especially now knowing a good deal of what's to come.
The multiplayer battles are a blast. What a great spin on it. I'll definitely be going back to it.

That's a wrap on Pokemon Legends Z-A for me. Tyrantrum here was always my favorite gen 6 Pokemon, but he was unexpectedly my MVP in this game with the absurd amount of times he clutched up. My Pokedex is complete and I'm only leaving one side quest on the table. I'm only leaving tedium undone.

This moment right here. It is still so goddamn triumphant. I don't know how they're going to rework this sequence for Part 3, but it seems to be setting up to be even better than it already was. And I can't fuckin wait.

I do believe I am going to retire from Balatro. I've got a couple other games I've had on the back burner that I was ignoring because I was sucked into this game so hard, but I think I've peaked. There were a few ways to improve this run, but my set up was insane. Balatro rules.
