That is awesome!

Amen to that. I looked at a train home before Thanksgiving and it would have taken 36 hours by rail and bus.

If there were just a few HSRs, especially along the coasts and south, it would make such a difference!

Was there coverage of the Patriot Act on it?

Oooh, love the second one, but meant more in the lines of an extreme closeup on the peat or moss itself.

I really wish NM would have approved my POO239 plate (rad waste guy).

Honestly, sounds like a damn good time in terms of work trips. The fly fishing sounds especially fantastic - you bring your own flies?
Have you heard of Project Healing Waters for vets with PTSD?

Incredible shots! Do you have any macro shots of the moss or peat?

(2/2) I hate to trivialism the horror of the Holocaust to popular media, but I distinctly recall the first 'impact' of learning about it from Schindler's List.
I do not know of anyone under 25 that has seen that, or similar, movies and media.

After talking to my teacher friend about this, he brought up a great point - the absolute dirth of early education covering "negative" history like prev genocides of the Jewish people (and others).
During my education, the Holocaust and Holodomor and Stalin purges were shallowly covered. (1/2)

(2/2) for nearly the last twenty years have defined our generations's view of Israel, along with most of the problems you outlined.
I would imagine a new President/PM that reigned in the more offensive Orthodox members and policed settler crimes would go a long, long way in reforming US youth views

I think you covered most of the issues we have with current support for Israel except for one of the largest ones - opposition to Benjamin Netanyahu, who most of my friends (and myself) view as a Erdogan, Orban style despot. His corruption, disregard of law, and mix of religion and politics (1/2)

Lol! We have another Skycrane that has graced us up here in Los Alamos, NM a few fire seasons. It's an impressive piece of kit!

I frequently look at their job postings, and even accounting for PERA, the pay is drastically lower even at top of the pay band, and worse benefits (no remote, heavy workload, iffy management).

I wish I could find the annual report summarizing the dire staffing need NMED faces, but was able to find the following: HWB inspected 3.7% of facilities, with minimum goal of 15%.

I really wish they could pay more - in the SF area especially.

Additionally, adoption could be used to self-fund mitigate and restorative work for contaminated site. And yes, while holding those accountable for the pollution, damage, would be ideal, a progmatic approach such as lithium and H extraction could incentivize businesses.

Ah, I was looking at it from the POV of a green*er* transition fuel that can use existing infrastructure and companies - basically a safe offramp for heavily invested O&G institutions.

Are there environments where adoption of hydrogen processes would make sense - like in the Permian basin of New Mexico and Texas, especially from fracking water and depleted wells? Genuine question, not trying to be snarky.

I'd love a more technical breakdown on the tools ya'll use in EEI - do you have custom GIS templates/layers and models that are open for public use?
