Construction in Springfield is moving forward! Since we celebrated the groundbreaking in Monterey County in May, construction for the main line is complete on three roads. This milestone means we are one step closer to getting homes connected to clean drinking water by the fall of 2026.

SB 840 has passed out of the Assembly Natural Resources Committee. This bill will protect safe drinking water investments through 2045 by extending the current continuous appropriation of up to $130 million for the #SAFER Fund. Thank you to Senator Monique Limón for protecting SAFER!

Without Programs like #SAFER, Counties like Ventura would fall behind on making the Human Right to Water possible for their residents. We need SAFER to make safe drinking water possible. California must renew and fund SAFER to meet the need. Everyone deserves safe water at the tap. 💧
