all i want to do is make a funny modpack with some fun and nostalgic mods to play with my friends and all ive succeeded at doing is learning that if you want to play a modpack with bewitchment and also ars nouveau they fucking kill you

i last created a pack in like 17.10 and learning that there's now like 5 modloaders, none is the go-to one anymore, devs will make mods for like one or maybe two and leave the rest in the dust, and there's zero good compatibility mods or tools to bridge them is like. what the fuck even happened here
