I mainly lurk, but if I do post will usually be on nuclear physics or radiation & environmental protection & monitoring.

There's no justification to be on Twitter, you will convince no one, there is no glorious crusade, you are simply enabling Elmo.

You didn't answer the question though?

Have you provided your volcano numbers yet?

If you can't do either of these, how do you expect to understand the effects?

Oh the BBC that sweet summer child, no it's not rock bottom.

Currently the average annual exposure from radiation derived from nuclear testing is ~5 μSv and from nuclear accidents & releases is ~2 μSv, equivalent amounts of radiation to eating 50 and 20 bananas respectively over one year.

Average background radiation is ~2600 μSv per annum.

Shhhh they'll find out about bananas soon.

Well, I suppose it's not the first time the European fashion industry has been militarised.

Got sent the pic below asking if I knew about it, but a lot of people don't know the unofficial fastest man made object, (outside of particle accelerators of course) was an iron lid. Would have most likely vapourised but ground to space in 2 seconds who knows?
