Lately, these creatures have been showing up — soft-bodied, half-formed, somewhere between emotion and memory.
I’ve started calling them Kindlets.
They’re the small, tender fragments of self: a forgotten wish, a moment of shame, something I never had words for.

Someone asked why I don't want to throw little pieces away (offcuts) and I told them I can still use them for things.
I made a corner clamp with an off cut and my existing bar clamps.
I used it to make a box for offcuts that were too small to rack.
