This is pretty much how everything I build happens...
1. Notice friction: post sidebar feels cluttered
2. Experiment: carousel, collapsible tags, moved metadata

We decided to shut down Plumb this week (and I'm ending 5 years at Murmur Labs).

We built something special, but it was time to fold up the tent.

I'll share more reflections later but for now, my focus is on helping this amazing team find their next home, either together or on their own. 💜

Kindlets & Blips, first appearance not in my @supernote Nomad or doodled on paper.

This is my first piece of art on canvas ever!

Lately, these creatures have been showing up — soft-bodied, half-formed, somewhere between emotion and memory.

I’ve started calling them Kindlets.

They’re the small, tender fragments of self: a forgotten wish, a moment of shame, something I never had words for.

Telling AI “don’t show a pink elephant” almost guarantees it will.

Negation doesn’t work—because models focus on what’s named.

In my newsletter this week, I talk about how AI models mirror our minds by focusing on what we tell them not to do, making positive prompting essential for better results.

Saw a guy wearing a Sleep Token shirt at the grocery store, so I asked him what he thought about "Even in Arcadia".

We talked for 20 minutes and it was just really a highlight.

Someone in the @resilienceinsoftware.org Slack just asked a really savvy question about this Cloudflare incident report: blog.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-i.... Their question was: “Is it ‘human error’ if the system allows it?”

I've been exploring new templates for my @supernote.com. I wanted them to be minimal and reusable. So far I like these!

I love my @supernote.com Nomad and I don't see a lot of people talk about screen mirroring, so I made a short video demoing it, showing how to turn it on and why I love it! 🖊️

The time you save by having AI write code for you, you double in review (or you should!) if you want it to be bug free and work as expexted.

New @supernote.com screensaver I made.

Wonder lives in the spaces between—where the familiar fades into the unknown, and curiosity carves paths into the vastness.

What stories does this landscape hold? What mysteries linger beneath its silent skies? Let’s step closer and find out.
