My very first job was as a page (shelver) at the Kitchener Public Library. I've seen (and experienced) the benefits of having a strong public library system that benefits the community **as a whole.**

These "savings" will cost all of us in the long run.

Library leadership claim that this statement is misinformation, because the library will still be offering programs and services and collections items for children. and that may be true. But… same background. text says: Not one single person at the library will have the sole focus of children or teens in their job title or description effective January 5.
