8/9 Fortunately, we completed the trial and data collection before the project was terminated, and we have multiple papers under review or near submission. We will be appealing the decision, as there is still more work to be done here.

7/9 Many vaccines are developed through NIH-supported research funded by taxpayers. Our research was about maximizing their public health impact—the very reason they were developed in the first place.

4/9 It is the policy of NIH not to prioritize research activities that focuses gaining scientific knowledge on why individuals are hesitant to be vaccinated and/or explore ways to improve vaccine interest and commitment.
