What I did today: a shrine to Eurmal the Trickster, for RuneQuest.

The model is from @fenrispublishing.bsky.social & the rabbit is from @badsquirtle.bsky.social. If the fact that I put in a bunny bugs you, of course you realise this means war.

I put some descriptive words in the Alt text.

The camera has exaggerated some of the shading and made it look a bit harsh. Some tidying up to do, but it's so very gloomy today.

I still play 40+ years later. I owe that to Jennell. I never met her, but I have so many good friends thanks to her work keeping me in this hobby.

I'm glad I got to tell Rebecca that and that she got to see the duck idol I painted in Jennell's memory. I keep it on my monitor stand.

A couple of years ago, I made a Scion character for the January daily character creation challenge on RPGnet - Evri, daughter of Hermes.

I think I was working through some issues.

This is the last picture that was taken of Tilly, a couple of weeks before she died.
She was looking very intense because she had seen the man taking the picture and she knew him and, more importantly, she knew that he always had a biscuit for her.
This is a photo of Tilly. On a sunny day, an old Staffy cross, her face now gone very grey is walking along a path towards the camera. She has a very intent look on her face, and both her ears are perked up. This is because she knows that the man taking the picture is a man who always has a biscuit for. She has seen him. She knows the biscuit will soon be hers! What a lovely day! Tilly was a Very Good Dog.

A painted 28mm scale miniature of a zombie broo duck. It's a creature from the Glorantha setting from RuneQuest. A humanoid duck that is a zombie. Really, an awful abomination. It has a broken neck so its head has flopped over to its right shoulder. Its tongue flops out of its beak. It has bloody wounds. I mean it, it really is an awful thing. And it's got a bronze blade that it's dragging along the ground. By all the gods! What were Fenris Games thinking of when they created this unholy chaotic thing? Top marks to them. 10/10. Can recommend. Your RuneQuest player characters will hate it.
