I don’t like the work of Ari Aster but I can praise the craft of all the folk who make his films as excellent. I haven’t enjoyed Doctor Who in recent years, but that is on me, not some weird proof of unworthiness in the show. Our taste as fans is not proof of anything flawed in a work.
