I was trying to explain to a friend back in Seattle just how far North Amsterdam is (52.4N) versus Seattle (47.6N)
It's about the same difference as Seattle and Bandon Oregon 43.1N (almost Medford 42.3N, target is 42.8N)
The biggest offshoot is that our winters are even darker than Seattle.
