Despite the chaos in the world, it’s been an amazing week helping lead the @nagtgeo.bsky.social Early Career Faculty in the #Geoscineces Workshop. So inspired by our newest cohort of faculty & the collective effort to eliminate the hidden curriculum required to succeed in the academy.

Earth Science funding specifically is down 80% ($62M) so far this year + $66M in grants cancelled…😳

It’s hard to know how to even begin to summarize the tremendous impact this is going to have on the future of the geoscience workforce & research in the US…
