This was the first ever convening for our Fellows, and according to their feedback, had a particularly powerful impact on this group who experienced many 'firsts.'

Back in February when our team had the opportunity to visit Vaul Institute and see their team in action, we were lucky to get to experience this mindfulness tool (and the Vaul team's phenomenal stewardship of it!) firsthand.

For our Program Partner leaders, who regularly face high-stress environments, these breathing techniques are something to add to their metaphorical toolbox for when they need to regulate their own mind/body, or a beneficiary's.

Through a meditative VR journey, the participant learns to breathe consciously utilizing a variety of breathing techniques. This promotes a sense of calm by lowering heart rate and activating the body's relaxation response, helping to decrease anxiety and improve mood.
