First show of the year last night was LS Dunes and @riseagainstmusic.bsky.social (or to call them by their proper name, Rise Above) – it was my second time seeing both bands and it felt really special to be in that room. The Olympia Theatre has something magic in it

Aldi out here inventing new cryptids in Kevin the Too-Long-Limbed Carrot
It’s a plush anthropomorphic carrot with too-long limbs. Like way too long. They’re not even carrot coloured they’re light human flesh coloured. He’s smiling but he has murder in his eyes. The carrot is sitting on a chair like he’s waiting for you to fuck up and take your eyes off him. His too-long legs are crossed, his arms akimbo. They are also too long. I can’t stress how disproportionately long these arms are.
