Note, the water year is from October 1 to September 30th. So, even though we have had a few years with the first snowfall in September, that's technically the end of the water year, not the beginning and it goes on the previous year's total.

This is actually fairly close to our first snowfall dates over the last several years. Here's a closer look at when we normally get it-
