Plenty of room for your spices. Much better to use that bottom shelf as a reclining space for Himself.

That *was* an annual tradition in the Mich. farming community where I grew up. Each family gathered at one particular farmhouse on Friday, bringing their leftovers incl fresh desserts, and we got to eat other people’s favorite holiday foods

“Nothing beats kindness,” said the horse. “It sits quietly beyond all things.”
From The Boy, the mole, the fox and the Horse, by Charlie Mackesy (bought for a friend’s son, although it’s for any age)

Took a friend out for a birthday lunch yesterday. Good food, good company. She’s been concerned about (and tied up with) her brother who has been in & out of the hospital so it was good that she could now get away for a few hours!

That’s terrible! And it’s their own fault, right, Lumi? They gave you treats once; did they think you would forget?
(Besides being very rude to call it screaming when really it is your complimentary expert canine paint-peeling service.) 😠

I was told to use a phone camera on farthest setting, but my area has too many streetlights and no clear horizon (north of Boston)

I thought that cuphook tail means happy and petsies!
(Of course, if you do pet him the annoyance emerges)

I do hope you understood that as being my hint (or tip) to @bookshop.org, not as a reproach for something you had neglected to arrange! 📖 ❤️ 🐸

Tremendous congrats! Ordered directly just now since it doesn’t yet show up on @bookshop.org (hint, hint!)
