Almond butter cake to take to my friend's house tomorrow. It made my kitchen smell amazing.

I finally started this book, written by the wife of a former library colleague. She's a Cape Ann (MA) author and her writing is really good. I'll have to look for her earlier book.

I didn't even know Penzeys Spices had hoodies but they were having a while-they-last online special just when I was running low on something, so instead of going to the store...

Bravermountain merch update: the T-shirt I arrived back in Feb arrived today, just in time for cooler temps. (The dark green long-sleeved one came in early July.) Hey, I'll wear it anyway... it looks red in the pic but it's the hottest of hot pinks.
