I mean, come on, would Chuck Schumer blow an 18-point fourth quarter lead to Bo Nix? Well, actually, now that I'm considering it...

It’s mortifying how much I care about the fiction I’ve been publishing at Hydra. Like if that feeling were a person you’d walk to the other side of the street, for fear you’d catch something.

I planted a shishito bush(?) this year, my first year gardening. What a wonderful plant. Downright expressive, in its delicate spread. Also: big honkin' fruits. I had a few fellas that rivaled this one. I guess the compost was good.

I kinda think drafting is a crapshoot and all you can do is have good process. (Which he mostly has.) The problem for me is the mundane roster management stuff. They've lost several games due to not having a healthy kicker, are only fielding two running backs lately. That strikes me as incompetence.

Not the worst idea. I'd also like to figure out if Harold Washington was any good.

He dealt with it perfectly. Brushed it off and hammered his message, then dropped that "about all this bullshit I've had to put up with..." speech in the home stretch, after he'd already defined himself. Really smart.

Is there a good book on Lindsay? I know a little bit, but probably not as much as I should.
