Yeah, I love Obsidian. I'd wanted Notion-style queries for a while, and the Bases feature has gone a ways towards closing that gap.
Just curious, have you heard of anytype.io? That's a good local-first alternative to Notion. I use that for the dashboardy stuff that Obsidian doesn't do as well.

yeah, I thought Microsoft brushing the dust off Three Mile Island to power their AI needs was a lot more of a statement than they realized.

Yeah, the feet thing is very weird. I don't know what is up with that. It's one of many uncanny-valley things that make me wonder about what else was going on in this guy's mind that he didn't share.

Thanks! Yeah, iPhone Notes. I'm curious, where did you hear about its quirks? It absolutely is temperamental, I just wasn't sure how noticeable that was if one wasn't using it for stuff it wasn't really designed for.

I mean, I'll admit to some sarcasm here—but seriously, no normal person would base a comic strip around something that looks like Biffo and his creepy little companion, right?

The guy who draws these is legitimately skilled, he's just disturbed.
That's why the non-humans/scenes are rendered pretty decently and the human/human adjacent characters are nightmare fuel.
